Overview If you want a more comfortable pace, choose the 4-day trek. It covers the same route from Sembalun to Sorean route but is much less exhausting than the 3-day trip The trek will start from the Sembalun village and will finish in torean village, Sembalun Trekking Route with an altitude of 1100 m and will also take place in the Sembalun village. This route will be pampered with a vast landscape, a little long path and a bit hot during crossing the meadow, to get to the edge of the crater with the altitude of 2600 m you will need a lot of stamina because you have to climb five hills which are very high and challenging. On the second day is the struggle to reach the summit with a height of 3.726m, starting from 2 a.m. in order to get the sun rise over the summit, What makes the 4-day program different from the 3-day one is the schedule for the second day. Instead of going all the way down to the lake after reaching the summit, you’ll stay another night at the base camp to rest. You could technically go straight to the lake, but beginners usually find this too difficult because the second day is the most tiring leg of the journey On the third day, you will continue the journey down to the lake and Savana Propok to camp. During this trip, you will have time to visit the hot springs to bathe and enjoy lunch before heading to the Savana Propok camping ground. Alternatively, you can choose to camp at Barisan Nangka if you need to finish the trek early on the final day to catch a flight or a fast boat to Bali.
